Custom software, business systems, online stores and product engineering. We define, design and build each system around the client’s requirements, then deploy it and hand it over.

Software developed by Novaan

We create and own software products alongside our client work. Counter, our live retail management platform for Indian businesses, is the first. We plan to expand the portfolio as new products are developed and ready to share.

Delivered client work, available products and ongoing research, with a clear distinction between each.

Client work: Delivered; E-commerce storefronts and business systems, including Prince and AIFA Scentique. Selected work is published with client permission; confidential engagements remain private.
Counter: Live; Our first software product, available today for Indian retail businesses. Billing, GST, inventory, purchasing and reporting in one system.
AI and automation: Research; Research into assistants and workflow automation for future products, with reliable information and human oversight. These capabilities are not available in our current products.

How we work

Scope agreed in writing
A shared understanding of the work comes before development. We define the requirements, deliverables and boundaries of the engagement in writing.
Changes to scope are discussed and agreed, not left to assumption.
One team owns the whole system
Novaan is founder-led. You work directly with the person accountable for the design, engineering and delivery of your system.
We take on work within our capacity to deliver responsibly.
You own what we build
The handover is part of delivery. Repositories, infrastructure and database access are transferred alongside documentation for the agreed system.
Ongoing support and further development are scoped separately.
